Student General Assistance

 

Assists in a variety of technical, clerical and miscellaneous tasks in support of the campus radiation safety program. Monitors, inspects incoming radioisotope shipments and delivers radioisotopes to campus laboratories, conducts testing of radioisotope fume hoods, performs data base entry, assists in the maintenance of inventory and calibration of radiation survey meters, collects radioactive waste from campus laboratories, assists in the processing, sampling of radioactive waste and other radioactive samples.
