Classroom Organizer

Class Organizers are responsible for delivering keys and evaluations to the instructor on the first day of class. In addition, the Class Organizer assists instructors with classroom media equipment, distributes handouts and surveys as needed and monitors student check in. Class Organizers also assist with orientations and other events held by Extension.

An ideal candidate must be dependable, highly communicative and comfortable working with instructors and students. Desirable qualifications include knowledge and familiarity with a variety of A/V equipment such as laptops, computers, data projectors as well as software such as the Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.

Positions are approximately 8-10 hours a week at the beginning of the quarter, with intermittent work throughout the quarter.   Class Organizers are needed throughout the year, including during the summer. Courses are held weekdays and weekends in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
