Student Services Assistant - Transcripts

Under direct supervision of the Student Services Rep. managing transcripts, assists the unit within the area of transcript processing and customer service.

  • Assists in the preparation of incoming transcripts for evaluation by the Office of Admissions. This position involves heavy data entry relating to the transcript intake process and will include the daily use of databases such as: TTS, Parchment, Inside SA as well as Gaucho Blue.
  • This position also provides customer service support such as providing assistance in placing transcript orders, providing updates on order status, as well as responding to phone calls and inquiries sent via email to the general transcript email inbox.
  • Assists the office with additional projects, as assigned. Basic knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, written and verbal skills. They must be detail-oriented, as well as possess strong analytic skills and be able to provide excellent customer service via phone and email.

Hours: up to 20 hours/week during the summer, 8 - 12 hours/week during the academic year, excluding finals week and between sessions
