Software Development Engineer Intern
Come be part of an exciting group called SEAL (Software Engineering Architecture & LifeCycle) with in Enterprise Technology Services at UCSB. Our goal is to develop cutting edge software and interfaces to integrate various systems on campus. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to help us develop code and software.
Qualifications:
Our current development stack includes, Java, JavaScript, Java Spring Boot and limited Dot Net framework. Responsibilities include understanding design specifications, diving deep into the software development, and developing end to end solutions that meet customer business needs. The position will be assigned a senior level Software Development Engineer to guide and mentor along the way.
Ability to learn computer software while carefully following instructions required. A good understanding of the Java core language, especially developing web applications is required. UX experience is a desirable qualification.
