Office of Summer Sessions - Student Assistant

The Office of Summer Sessions seeks to employ several students as Student Assistants in Student Support Services. In collaboration with Summer Sessions’ career staff, Summer Assistants provide summer students and faculty with a high level of professional service that includes student advising, general office support, and special program support. We seek assistants interested in gaining (or continuing to gain) work experience in a professional environment that promotes collaboration, excellence and customer service.

Summer Sessions coordinates the summer term courses offered by academic departments as well as offers special programs for UC and non-UC students with various goals or interests. Among the special programs are the pre-college programs (i.e., Early Start Program (ESP), Science Engineering Research Academy (SERA) and Research Mentorship Program (RMP)) which allow qualified high school students an opportunity to study and conduct research at the university level.
