Student Copy Operator

Provides a variety of technical support to the publication side of the David B Miller AS Publications. Responsible for assisting in the process by which classroom readers are ordered, prepared and reproduced. Provides pick-up and delivery of materials from professors or TA’s throughout the campus as needed. Could update and improve advertising of the service in collaboration with other student staff and suggest ideas to keep training manuals up to date.

Requires ability to handle pressure of strict deadlines, flexibility and able to multi-task. Good customer services skills in dealing with professors, University staff and representatives from student organizations. Requires attention to detail and accuracy, knowledge of computers and copy machines, general clerical duties and a positive attitude. Must be willing to work shifts as early as 8am. Must be available to work occasional evening and weekend hours, especially during the first week of the quarter and some break periods.
