Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant

Daily Tasks include (but not limited to):

Flip flies, watering as needed (assist full time Laboratory Assistants)

Prepare new food with yeast and stoppers for fly husbandry

Take out fly trash/ biological waste to bins

Refresh fly traps with apple cider vinegar

Take a look at sick tray and flip/water as needed to keep stock alive

Weekly Tasks include (but not limited to):

Assist with making fly food

Package dried food with tape and plastic bags, put away on shelf for lab

Pick up delivered packages for the lab

Seeking:
Sophmore level student of any major who's preferably available all year including summer

Great communication skills
