Nanofabrication Cleanroom Facility Student Assistant
Hours: 8-20 per week depending on need and student’s schedule
Salary: $11/hour starting, with increases based on experience
Cleaning (Weekly)
General facility upkeep.
Service Order Processing (Weekly)
The facility processes in excess of 300 service orders per year, mainly comprised of photomasks for various on-campus research groups.
Organization (Weekly)
Organize tools, label drawers/cabinets as needed. Laminate and post signs as needed.
Maintenance
Assist development engineer with maintenance projects. Servicing vacuum pumps, replacing filters, etc.
Special projects
Remainder of time will be devoted to special projects. When possible, these will related to student’s interest and abilities. This will cover a broad spectrum of possibilities as there are plenty of items on the facilities potential projects list.
