IT Consultant

Currently enrolled UCSB student needed to join a team providing technology support to faculty, staff and students in our labs, classrooms, offices and clinics. Working closely with the Information Technology Group (ITG) applicant will offer software and hardware support for faculty, staff and students.

Qualifications: 

Applicant shall demonstrate a working knowledge with both OS X and Windows operating systems, possess the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, students, and staff. Practical knowledge of current mobile devices and iOS and Android platforms is preferred. Familiarity with Linux ( or *nix) and a command line interface is a plus, but is not required. As this position adapts to suit the applicant’s strengths, applicant must exhibit an enthusiasm for learning and an aptitude for  working independently, as well as ability to interact with a diverse group of users. Student will work under supervision of ITG staff.
