The Administrative and Residential - IT department provides technical support t via email, over the phone and in person to UCSB staff members and residents. 

Job Description: 

The job of the ARIT student staff is to answer the phone in a friendly manner. ARIT student staff also provides assistance to walk-ins and check out laptops, iPad and other equipment.  Maybe  provide training to small groups and create training materials.

Desired qualities: 

We are looking for candidates who have excellent interpersonal skills, are patient and reliable, have initiative, are interested in technology and eager to learn new skills in customer service and computer support. 

Experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 Suites, mobile devices, as well as experience on basic technical troubleshooting is highly desired.
