Student Assistant 1
The faculty housing assistant reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Community Housing Authority within the Office of Budget and Planning. These duties include, but are not limited to: typing, filing, reception, telephone duties, administrative support to the CHA office in the reservations and sales of faculty & staff housing, including assistance in marketing & sales, interaction with faculty and staff clients, open house showings and other duties related to the faculty housing sales program.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Completion of Gateway systems training
- Processing payables and receivables in Gateway for department
- Purchasing/processing orders/supplies, as
directed
- Management of various utilities accounts for faculty housing program
- Assist in performing research tasks related to development of the faculty & staff housing program, policies, etc.
- Assist in website maintenance and development of new web materials for sales & marketing program. Oversee/coordinate with vendor in web developments
- Assist in coordination/interaction with service vendors (movers, sales agents, pest control, etc.) for services related to sales transactions
Preferred working days: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
