WSU Variety Testing Program (VTP) is looking for an energetic individual to assist with a variety of tasks related to conducting successful field experiments with winter and spring wheat and spring barley during the summer of 2018. There is a possibility of extending the appointment into fall of 2018 academic years on part-time basis. The work includes but is not limited to assisting with planting, maintaining, harvesting of variety of winter and spring wheat and barley trials, data collection, grain processing and grain sampling. Majority of work during summer is performed outside of Pullman on small research plots throughout Eastern Washington (transportation to and from sites is provided). Attention to detail and a good work ethic are ESSENTIAL. Must be reliable, able to understand and follow both written and oral instructions and complete the tasks efficiently and effectively. Summer position is FULL TIME ONLY.
